In the wake of the ongoing nationwide lockdown for containing the spread of Corona or Covid-19 virus, CIDCO has decided to conduct the owners’ meet planned in April, 2020 for the 6th Town Planning Scheme (TPS-6) of its Navi Mumbai Airport Affected Area (NAINA) Project. Under this all the details pertaining to the scheme will be made available digitally on CIDCO’s website and through WhatsApp.

CIDCO being the Special Planning Authority for NAINA, magnifies the implementation of Sanctioned Interim Development Plan of NAINA thro’ Town Planning Mechanism embracing 11 Town Planning Schemes. Sanctioned Interim Development Plan covers an area of 3683 ha, includes 11 TPS comprising an area of around 2971 ha. To apprise on the progress of this schemes, TPS-1 preliminary scheme is sanctioned, TPS- 2 and 3 draft schemes are sanctioned. Furthering, NAINA in the month of March has successfully accomplished land owners meet for Town Planning Scheme No. 4 and 5, progressed the same for the first consultation of Director Town Planning. Town Planning Mechanism has legal and time bound frameworks. Advancing Town Planning Scheme No. 6, which was declared on 08th August 2019, needs to roll out for Public Consultation in the month of April 2020 as per the Time lines of MRTP Act.

In order to contain the spread of COVID-19 virus, the nation is under lockdown since 25th March 2020. As per the guidelines for safety, CIDCO cannot risk to invite visitors to its offices for the land owners’ meet for TPS-6. With all due respect to Government Orders, to safeguard public health in the wake of Covid 19 pandemic, CIDCO proposes Public Consultation of Town Planning Scheme-6 to go Digital on 24th April2020, expressing confidence to all land owners.

Under TPS 6, the area admeasuring about 243 Ha from part of villages Chikhale, Moho, Shivkar and PaliKhurd of Taluka Panvel, District Raigad will be developed. The Scheme no. 6 comprises of IDP reservation 37.7% for public amenities like school, playgrounds, Central Park, Public Health Centers, daily bazar, crematorium etc. The scheme also includes Growth Center reservation and will have approach through interchange of proposed Multi modal corridor and 60m wide spine road.

To ensure the ease of Procedures and maximum Public Participation, digital and online supports are being provided. Detail maps of original and final plots are scaled out for easy understanding and transparent procedures. The Public consultation notice,Detailed list of land owners with their original survey numbers and Final entitled plot numbers and Draft layout of the Town Planning Scheme – 6 will be available on CIDCO’s website from 24th April 2020 to 4th May 2020. Land owners can send their suggestions and objections through email and/or whatsapp.
