CIDCO organises demolition drive at Ghansoli Node

As per Hon. High Court’s Order in PIL No.138 of 2012, the Court has issued directives to demolish all illegal structures, which are not protected by rules & regulations, policy of
CIDCO or State Govt. of Maharashtra and submit the report to Court. Accordingly, under the guidance of Kishan Jawale, Additional Collector (Sel. Grade) and CCUC, CUC (North)
arranged the demolition drive at Ghansoli Node on 10 May, 2019 in Thane District of Navi Mumbai.
During the drive the unauthorised construction of RCGG + 4 built on an area of approximately 336.80 sq.m at Survey No. 186 and 187, Sector-22, Mauje Talawali was demolished. Also, the unauthorised pucca construction with cement roof erected on an area of approximately 53.46 sq. m. and unauthorised temporary huts constructed on an area of approximately 200 sq. m. area on Plot no. 31 and the nearby plot at Sector- 22, Mauje Gothivali, were demolished.
The above mentioned encroachments-unauthorised constructions were constructed without taking any permission and by violating the prevalent regulations and policy of CIDCO and CIDCO administration, by following the due procedure of law demolished those encroachments. The demolition drive was carried out successfully with the help of Dinkar Mohite, Police Inspector, six police officers and 40 police personnel of Rabale Police Station. P. B. Rajput, CUC (N) with Arun Pawar, Asst. PI, CIDCO with his team and CIDCO’s security guards, MSF staff were also present during the demolition drive.
While carrying the demolition drive 01 supervisor and 20 labours were employed and one JCB, one truck, one towing van, two compressors, four airbrakers and two gas cutters were used.
