Take your unheard grievance to municipal commissioner

Each month, Navi Municipal Commissioner Bhaskar Wankhede organises a ‘Lokshahi Din’ (Democracy day) at the Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation Headquarters to provide better services and to listen to the grievances of the citizens.
This month the commissioner received applications for 23 different issues. He attended each call personally and individually for better response and accordingly asked the department heads to take appropriate action.
Wankhede informed “As per the orders of Maharashtra state government we organize Democracy Day on first Monday of each month and hence we request the residents that if they have any grievance which is not being heard, they can approach me directly on this day between 10 am and 12 noon.”
