His Political Stance
“It has been a great honour for me to be the Leader of the House of PCMC and initiate and actively participate in two youth organizations. I believe in connecting with the youth and lining them together to think collectively and come up with innovative and better solutions for common issues, whether local or global. With proper guidance they can do wonders and take the responsibility of the future on their shoulders.”
His Business Pursuits
“I am into business since 2 decades now and have always firmly believed in innovation and hence I always look out for better and progressive ideas to carry business ahead. I have been constantly endeavouring to innovate in every aspect of business, be it in auditing, purchasing or any other aspect of business.
I had introduced Artificial Sand / Crushed Sand in the Mumbai region. In 2003, it was known as greed. However, I had to work very hard to establish the market. As the rate of crushed sand was less than 50 percent of that of natural sand, it lead to lower cost of development, hence the cost of construction also was down. Moreover it increased the life of the structure developed by more than 50 percent.
Future Plans (In PCMC)
“Panvel is still at a nascent stage in some terms and can do well with the adoption of new methodologies and technology and follow other well developed like Mumbai and Navi Mumbai. There is huge diversity in Panvel City Municipal Corporation. It is the oldest city and hence has different development challenges with regard to availability of space and other factors. So when we think of developing it further like Kharghar, which is a well-planned node, we have to consider such factors.”
Infrastructure: “Will ensure that there is high quality infrastructure, with roads declared as the most important asset, just like hospitals, so that the quality never gets compromised at the cost of anyone’s Life.
Health: “Will ensure that Health Schemes reach out to more and more people through the opening of maximum number of outreach centers.
Governance: “Will ensure that we adopt the E-governance pattern in all the departments to ensure transparency in the entire working system.
Youths: “There is a huge difference between the youth of today and of the youth ten years back. Earlier, there were hardly any opportunities for them compared to the present scenario when there are ample. My objective is to ensure that the youth gets involved in sports and cultural activities as through them they can learn to work together as a team and more importantly, to set and achieve their goals.
Sports: “As the Managing Director of Shri Ramsheth Thakur International Sports Club, it becomes my responsibility to ensure that the youths who come here to play sports are not just passing their time idly but rather striving for and getting the opportunity tp compete with international players. This is only possible by imparting high quality sportsmanship in them.”
Idol: “I follow the footprints of my father, former MP, Ramshethji Thakur, and my elder brother MLA Prashantji Thakur, as they are the real life Idols for me. It is through them that I have learnt to serve the society without thought, treating everyone equally.”
Purpose of Life: “The truth is that there is Patriotism in our blood and hence I will continuously and successfully strive for the empowerment of the youth and the society on a whole.”
