NMMC election on 22nd April 2015

Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation Election scheduled on 22nd April 2015 announced State Election Commisioner Sahariya                               Considering the election the  Code of Conduct will be implemented from 12am of 24th March 2015 announced State Election Commisioner J S Sahari

Sahariya said in Navi Mumbai the Election will be held for 111 Wards.

The names of the candidates will be accepted from 31st March 2015 to 7th April 2015 excluding Public Holidays and Sundays. The scrutiny of the forms will be held on 8th of April 2015 and the illegible Candidates will be declared. Those candidates who wish to take back their name will be allowed to do so till 3pm of  10 April 2015. Final list of Candidates will be published on 11 April 2015 and same day Symbols will also be given. It is on the same day Voting Centres list and respected Voters list will also be published. The elections will be held on 22 April 2015 from morning 7.30am to evening 5.30pm. The votes will be counted on 23 April 2015 from morning 10am. Code of Cunduct will end once all the results are announced. Candidates who wish to stand from Reserve Wards will have to submit their Caste Certificate and Caste Verified Certificate while submitting their Candidature Application and other documents. The Candidates will have to submit their accounts of ecpenses made within 30 days from the day result is announced. If the candidate fails to submit the accounts his candidature will be declared  as non ilegible. The Divisional Commisioner will have such powers to take action.
